Hiring and Labor Stats:
- 36% report open roles they can’t fill (up from May)
- 50% say qualified applicants are scarce or nonexistent
- 33% raised compensation in June — the biggest jump since Jan 2020
Industries Feeling It Most:
- Construction, manufacturing & transportation lead in unfilled jobs
- Finance & agriculture least impacted
SMBs continue to hire:
- 58% are actively trying
- 13% are planning to add new positions in the next 3 months
